Yoga is not just for the bendy and the zen-minded. It is a great way to get to know your body, to stretch, strengthen and to relax.

Kyla teaches an accesible mix of Hatha Vinyassa Yoga, with emphasis on working all the muscles of the body evenly, balanced with relaxation and breathing. It is done gently and with a good amount of humour, in a non-competetive, safe and encouraging atmosphere.

She believes in pacing yourself, and working within your own limits, and firmly believes that if you can’t touch your toes, are self-conscious, overweight or too stressed out to meditate, this Yoga class is perfect for you.

Kyla’s Physiotherapy background and extensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology ensures she keeps a close eye on any injuries or diseases and offers alternatives if anything is not quite manageable. If you have never done Yoga before, come along and see how it goes!

Yin Yoga: ONDA Yoga Space, Jubilee Wharf, Penryn, (opposite the Zed Shed) Wednesday evening, 6:15-7:15 pm (Booking essential) Yin is a very different practice. The poses are all floor based and help for longer, working the Yin tissues of the body. Perfect for stiff bodies, beginners and stress relief.

Gentle Hatha Vinyasa:  Zed Shed, Penryn, Friday, 6:30-7:30 pm

Pregnancy Yoga : ONDA Yoga Space, Jubilee Wharf, Penryn, Wednesday, 5:30pm. Physio-Yoga for Pregnancy. Suitable for 12 weeks onwards, strengthen and relax your body. Thursday 9:30 @ ONDA yoga space. BOOKING essential.

Private Yoga Classes : Kyla offers one-on-one private tuition, perfect for first-timers or people with more complex health issues. Yoga is a great form of therapy, and Kyla will work with you to formulate a perfect balanced practice for you to take home and practice. Just give her a call to find out more.

Yoga is not just for 21 year old stretchy ladies. I am 65, overweight and I havent seen my toes in a while let alone touched them. I saw Kyla for Physio after my back surgery and she suggested I try Yoga. Initially I laughed at the idea but I promised to give it a go. After 3 sessions I am hooked.
